Engagement Photoshoot Chester – Emma & Ben
Emma and Ben chose Chester for their engagement photoshoot. The pair, who met at university, currently live in London but are returning to their families to get married in Cheshire in April 2021.
In compliance with Covid-19 government guidelines Emma and Ben’s May 2020 wedding has been rescheduled to April 2021. It will be held at luxurious Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire.
Creative Engagement Photography in Chester
Engagement photography is increasing in popularity. Some couples choose to have an engagement shoot as they often say that they feel uncomfortable being photographed or that they never like pictures of themselves. An engagement shoot is an opportunity to fix all of these worries. So that it won’t be an issue on their wedding day. It’s a chance for couples to get used to me photographing them and if they need it, I can give them tips to help them to be more comfortable in front of the camera.
Many of my previous engagement shoot couples go on to use the images in their wedding stationery like invitations, guest books and thank you cards.
Emma and Ben’s choice of having the engagement photoshoot in Chester was a good one! This historically rich Roman walled city has a stylish city vibe combined with pretty architecture that gave me so many perfect backdrops when photographing Emma and Ben.
Natural Chester Engagement Photography
As experienced Chester engagement photographers, our style is always natural and authentic. I wanted Emma and Ben to relax and forget about the camera. This approach allowed me to capture them as they actually are, interacting with each other in an effortless and natural way. Nothing posed or forced, but as you can see, looking their absolute best! The result was natural and authentic images that they were thrilled with.
I love all the images I got on the day though the ones in the old church ruins are my favourites. Here, take a look!
I really enjoyed Emma and Ben’s engagement photoshoot in Chester. And it’s made me really look forward to capturing their wedding photography at Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire in April next year.
In fact, I think I’m looking forward to it nearly as much as they are!
