Heaton House Farm wedding photography is always a joy to shoot. Nathalie and Andrew chose this stunning wedding venue that is nestled on the hillside of a working farm with views across the mesmerising Cheshire and Staffordshire countryside.
On the day we got there early so we could catch up with Nathalie and her bridal party who were getting ready in Heaton House Farm’s gorgeous bridal room (salon). Nathalie’s bridal party consisted of her mum Sandra and her bridesmaids Danielle, Rachel, Kate and Ava. Everybody was in high spirits and we did spot a bit of bubbly on hand to calm any last minute nerves.
Nathalie looked amazing in her dress that had the most delicate lace detail front and back and skimmed her figure so perfectly and with a train that gave her a traditional yet modern look at the same time. With hair and make-up done by Caro Millington, Nathalie looked so beautiful. She really suited being a bride.
Andrew and his grooms’ party looked resplendent in petrol blue three piece suits they worked so perfectly with the bridesmaids in the same colour. The grooms’ party consisted of Andrew’s dad Robert, best men Peter and Paul, ushers Kevin, Ian and Andy. And Andrew’s mum Elizabeth was on hand to keep them all in check.
We love sunflowers in wedding bouquets and they were a running theme in all of the flower arrangements at Nathalie and Andrew’s wedding so a shout out to the team at Wild Flowers. The flowers looked amazing.
Wedding Photography at Heaton House Farm
Now, Nathalie and Andrew had wanted an outdoor ceremony but as the day had started with rain so they got married in a gorgeous marquee that had an amazing under the stars effect.
After the ceremony the rain had cleared so Nathalie, Andrew and their guests were able to enjoy a drinks and canapes reception outside on the pretty terrace and gardens at Heaton House Farm. They were entertained by singer Jordan Williams who went down really well with everybody.
As the weather had cleared we got the chance to take some great images of Nathalie, Andrew, their wedding party and all of the guests. But most importantly of all of we managed to get some images of Nathalie’s dad Frank’s range rover. It is by all accounts his pride and joy so he decorated it with a ribbon and parked it front and centre of the wedding and we photographed Nathalie and Andrew in front of it. A very proud moment for Frank but you’ve got to feel for his wife Sandra!
We also got the chance to take some really romantic portrait images of Nathalie and Andrew by the pretty pond in the walled garden at Heaton House Farm. They are gorgeous images and amongst our favourites of the day.
Now we see kids at weddings all the time. But rarely any so well dressed as these! They may have been well turned out but it didn’t stop them having some fun. Here, take a look!
The wedding reception was held in the luxurious marque that had been dressed beautifully. Speeches were before dinner (always a good idea in case there are any nerves) Not that they needed to be worried, the speeches by Frank, Peter, Paul and Andrew all went down a storm with all the wedding guests.
Cheshire Farm Wedding Photography
After a sumptuous wedding breakfast provided by caters Vanilla in all Seasons the early evening sun really came out giving us the most perfect natural light to work with (us Cheshire wedding photographers are obsessed with light!)
So we had a chance to get some fantastic informal images of everybody enjoying themselves. Capturing the spontaneous game of cricket was fun and we know that it was one Nathalie and Andrew’s favourite moments of the day. Showing that it’s not the staged moments of your wedding that often that bring the most joy but the unexpected ones.
Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a delicious looking naked wedding cake (don’t naked cakes always look yummier than iced ones!) which was the creation of the very talented people at Mrs. Lyons Tearoom.
First dance was to the beautiful song ‘wings’ by Birdy and was danced in front of enormous light up letters saying ‘Mr. & Mrs Simpson’. It looked magical. It wasn’t long before Nathalie and Andrew were joined on the dancefloor by their loved ones.
This lot were up for a party! And the image of everybody throwing down some shapes on the dancefloor seemed the perfect image to close the story of Nathalie and Andrew’s day. A gorgeous wedding for this gorgeous pair.
Heaton House wedding photography bookings are always the most fun. Congratulations to Nathalie and Andrew for getting married. We hope our images will enable you to relive your day again and again for many years.
