The Hillbark Hotel – Photography & Video Package

Hillbark Hotel wedding photography is always a joy to shoot. Jess and Kevin chose the perfect venue for their summer wedding. On the day the four of us all arrived early so we could get some images and video of Jess as she made her preparations for the day. She was in one of Hillbark Hotel’s lovely suites getting her makeup done by Mia Keanes and her hair done by Stacey Dodd. On hand were her bridal party that consisted of her mum Maria, sister and maid of honour Lisa, and bridesmaids Katie, Terrianne and Kas. (We loved the co-ordinated pyjamas girls with the obligatory glass of bubbly to complete the look!)

As award winning Cheshire wedding photographers we frequently get to work at some amazing venues and this is always the case when we return to shoot wedding photography at Hillbark House. Set in lush park and overlooking the Welsh Hills and Dee Estuary the Hillbark estate is overflowing with historic architecture. With amazing function rooms like the Great Hall, the Dining Room, the ballroom and beautiful gardens we’re always spoilt for choice for amazing backdrops when photographing our couples and their guests.

We then caught up with Kevin and his grooms’ party. Kevin looked very smart in an oatmeal colour three-piece suit with a petrol blue tie that tied in perfectly with the grooms party blue three-piece suits. The grooms’ party was also quite a size with Kevin, Kevin’s dad, best man Craig, and groomsmen Mark, Graeme, Ross and Josh.

Jess looked amazing in her wedding dress that had beautiful lace detail and a fish tail shape that gave her the most gorgeous silhouette in all of our images of her. Her bouquet was elegant and simple in white and was the creation of Flourish Flowers who did all of the flower arrangements for the day.

The ceremony took place in Hillbark Hotel’s Great Hall. With its minstrel’s gallery, William Morris stained glass windows and stunning Elizabethan fireplace it is an amazing room for a wedding ceremony and made a fantastic backdrop in all of our images.

Now we must mention the very sweet flower girl and page boy who performed their duties perfectly.

After the ceremony everybody enjoyed a drinks reception and as the sun broke through we got the chance to get some shots outside in the pretty grounds of Hillbark Hotel. We got a fantastic shot of Jess and Kevin in front of the wedding pagoda in the gardens and it is amongst our favourites of the day. Here take a look!

The wedding breakfast was served back in the majestic Great Hall after which there were some very well received speeches.

Evening celebrations kick started with the cutting of a gorgeous wedding cake made by Laura Higginbottom. This was followed by a romantic first dance to Tom Walker’s song ‘You and I’.

It wasn’t long before Jess and Kevin were joined on the dancefloor by their family and friends and it was the image of everybody dancing and letting their hair down that was our cue to take our leave.
