Lauren and Lewis – Mottram Hall Wedding Photography
We always love returning to shoot Mottram Hall wedding photography and we always love working with great couples like Lauren and Lewis.
On the day we arrived at Mottram Hall early to catch up with Lauren who was getting ready in one of their beautiful suites. The bridal party was big with mum’s Denise and Linda, bridesmaids Faye, Elinor, Becky and Amelia and flower girls Sienna, Millie and Georgiana. We loved the bridesmaid’s dresses, simple and elegant and complimented so perfectly with bouquets by Hayley’s flower studio who took care of all the bouquets and flower arrangements for the day.
The weather was not kind and it rained most of the day but the beautiful venue and everybody’s high spirits made sure nobody really noticed.
Lauren was in the capable hands of the team from Absolutely Flawless who were doing her hair and make-up. We loved Lauren’s dress, gorgeously simple lines on the front, a low sweeping back and the most exquisite train that gave her such an amazing silhouette in all of our images of her. She looked amazing.
Now in interests of balance we must mention Lewis’s grooms party. They consisted of the Dad’s Andy and Phil, best man Jordan and ushers Oliver, Harry and Alex. They all looked resplendent in grey three piece suits with pink ties to co-ordinate with the bridesmaids dresses.
Wedding Photography at Mottram Hall
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St James’s Church in Macclesfield. This Grade I listed church sits in the village of Gawsworth and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England. St James’s Church is a Cheshire wedding photographers dream as it provides so many beautiful backdrops when photographing weddings.
After the ceremony there was a perfect confetti moment outside the church. We captured it and it was one of our favourite images of the day. Here take a look!
Everybody then headed to Mottram Hall for the wedding reception. With Lauren and Lewis travelling in style in a vintage cream coloured Blue Beauford convertible car.
As we said at the start. We always love shooting Mottram Hall wedding photography. Who wouldn’t? This award-winning 18th century Georgian country house set in 270 acres of breath-taking countryside with rose gardens, a private lake and the most stunning interiors is any Cheshire wedding photographers dream! Lauren and Lewis chose a stunner of a wedding venue.
Cheshire Wedding Photography
On arrival everybody enjoyed a drinks reception and we took advantage of the break in the rain to take some portrait shots of Lauren and Lewis and some formal images of the wedding party set around the beautiful grounds and interiors of Mottram Hall.
The wedding breakfast was held in Mottram Hall’s elegant St Andrew’s suite. As everybody settled down after the meal and before the speeches we took our chance to get some informal images of Lauren and Lewis’s guests relaxing and enjoying themselves.
The speeches were next and were all very well received.
With the speeches done it was time for us to take our leave. An elegant yet fun and laid back family friendly wedding. We loved it! Congratulations to Lauren and Lewis for getting married. We hope our images will allow you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
