An Inglewood Manor Wedding

In early September we returned as Inglewood Manor wedding photographers to shoot Megan and Luis’s intimate wedding day. We always love shooting wedding photography at Inglewood Manor. This idyllic grade II listed Edwardian Country House has stunning interiors and beautiful grounds. Packed with a rich history and tons of charm it’s one of Cheshire’s premier wedding venues.

On the day we caught up with Megan who was getting ready in one of Inglewood Manor’s gorgeous bridal suites. She had her bridal party on hand to help her with her preparations. The bridal party consisted of Megan’s mum Susan, Luis’s mum Angela and bridesmaids Steph and Elena. And the most adorable flower girl. Everybody was in high spirits and there was a little bit of bubbly on hand to help things along.

It was a beautiful day, warm with tons of sunshine that flooded all of our images with natural light (us Cheshire wedding photographers can never have too much natural light to play with!)

Inglewood Manor Bridal Preparations

Megan looked amazing in a beautifully sculpted off the shoulder dress that worked perfectly with her petite frame. And the fishtail shape gave her the most exquisite silhouette in all of our images of her. With hair by Annalee Jackson and make-up by Nicola Milton, Megan looked every inch the perfect fairy-tale bride.

We captured a gorgeous father seeing the bride moment before heading downstairs to one of the Inglewood Manor’s gorgeous rooms for the ceremony.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions there were just 30 guests but the wedding was organised so cleverly by Megan, Luis and the team at Inglewood Manor that it didn’t feel small, just relaxed and intimate.

Now it’s time to give the boys a mention. We loved the tweed jacket and waist coats that Luis and his grooms party wore, they worked so perfectly with the more casual trousers. Perfect for the style of the wedding and the venue. As busy Cheshire wedding photographers it’s always good to see something a little different.

Luis’s grooms party consisted of his dad Mark, Megan’s Dad Simon, best man Mason and ushers Steve and Jack. Though the page boy stole the show for being the handsomest in the grooms’ party. (sorry guys!)

Fun, Relaxed Covid Safe Inglewood Manor Wedding

The ceremony was beautiful, afterwards, everybody spilled outside for a drinks reception and we got the chance to take some lovely group shots on the lawn.

Whilst guests happily drank, mingled and soaked up the sunshine, we quickly whisked Megan and Luis away for a romantic mini portrait session set around the beautiful gardens and grounds and striking interiors of Inglewood Manor.

The reception was held in one of Inglewood Manor’s beautifully wood-panelled suites and Megan and Luis were welcomed in by their guests. We must mention the wedding cake, it was a naked one and looked amazing (naked cakes always look so much classier and tastier than the overly-iced traditional ones!)

After a really sumptuous meal there were some wonderfully heartfelt and fun speeches by Megan’s dad Simon and best man Mason, that had everybody laughing.

After the reception, everybody spilled back outside to make the best of sunshine and we took our chance to get some great images making the best of the atmospheric and romantic low sunlight that comes with sun-drenched evenings.

Always looking for the positive in situations. We can say that one of the best things about intimate wedding photography (and this year ‘Covid-19 wedding photography) is that couples have so much time to pose for photographs and spend time with their guests. At large weddings, couples sometimes feel a pressure ‘to get round to everyone’ but at Megan and Luis’s wedding the smaller numbers made everything flow naturally, nothing felt rushed which created a really relaxed vibe.
