Wow, the wedding of Gemma + Paul was just stunning, we just love shooting as Styal Lodge Wedding Photographers and it’s always a pleasure to see the staff.  The day was wonderful, sunny, and warm which is perfect for a Styal Lodge Wedding. Set in the heart of the Cheshire Countryside and surrounded by a Golf Course it’s a perfect venue for that fresh smell of summer.

The barn is such a popular venue with couples today, it’s won awards for being one of Cheshire finest venues and those awards are well deserved.  We started the day with Gemma and her bridesmaids in the custom dressing room that the lodge has for brides to change, so blended into the background for some detail shots before Paul and the groomsmen arrived.  The ceremony was early so we had plenty of time afterwards for some fun and funky groups shots, as they didn’t want the traditional cheesy group photos but something slightly edgy.

The food was delicious and catered by Pink Pepper Catering they were kind enough to feed us so we can highly recommend their food….. gosh my mouths watering just thinking about it.  The canapes, meals and cake all looked stunning.

Gemma + Paul choose a naked cake and we can’t describe how wonderful that smelt, those naked wedding cakes seems all the rage these days and the smell is just divine so highly recommend that too.  The day ended with the 1st dance and amazing band.  It’s so lovely to keep returning to venues and we do love Styal Lodge.   Styal Lodge Wedding Photographers.
