The Oak Tree Peover Wedding Photography
We always love returning to be The Oak Tree wedding photographers, Sacha and Tyler chose the perfect venue for their winter wedding in Cheshire.
The Oak Tree of Peover is a beautiful contemporary bespoke oak framed building overlooking the cheshire countryside. It’s an idyllic setting for a wedding and a real favourite with us Cheshire wedding photographers.
On the day, we woke to snow and headed over to the bridal suite at The Oak Tree to catch up with Sacha and her bridal party. The party consisted of Sacha, her mum Helen and bridesmaids the two Danielle’s and Amy. Everybody was of course in high spirits and in the capable hands of hair stylist and make-up artist Molly Payne.
Sacha looked stunning in beautiful dress with intricate lace sleeves, a plunging neckline and breathtakingly pretty layers of skirt in a ballroom shape that gave her a fairytale silhouette in all of our images. Sacha bought the dress at The Confetti Box and complemented it with a full veil that melted into the back of her dress and an elegant bouquet of white flowers created by florist The Little Garden Hale, who did all of the flowers on the day. Sacha’s three bridesmaids looked elegant in body skimming gold satin dresses. Before heading off the for ceremony, we captured a really special father seeing the bride moment.

We then caught up Tyler and his grooms party who were getting ready in another suite within The Oak Tree. Tyler’s grooms party consisted of Tyler, Dominic, Jason, Daniel and Marlon. The men looked very smart in traditional black tie and were enjoying a cheeky dram before the ceremony. We must mention the youngest member of the groom’s party who was utterly adorable and performed his duties perfectly.
The wedding ceremony was held in The Oak Tree’s gorgeous Ladybird Room. This bespoke building has high ceilings with exposed oak beams and ceiling to floor windows that offer stunning views of the gardens and flood the room with tons of natural light. (which is music to the ears of us Cheshire wedding photographers!)
The Ladybird Room had been dressed beautifully with candles and flower petals down each side of the aisle and fairy lights entwined around the oak beams. The venue dresser Alison from Lasting Memories had created something really beautiful and enchanting that was made all the more magical by the blanket of snow on the ground outside.
Sacha was walked down the aisle by her dad Brian. There followed a really special ceremony that included two lovely readings.

After the ceremony, everybody headed outside for a fun confetti moment that we captured perfectly. Here, take a look!
Whilst outside, we also grabbed the chance get some great images of the wedding party. There followed an elegant drinks reception in the rustic and stylish Acorn Bar. And we got some great candid images of Sacha and Tyler’s guests mingling and enjoying refreshments.
With guests happily catered for, we whisked Sacha and Tyler outside for a quick mini photoshoot in the gardens. The snow made for a gorgeous setting like something out of Narnia. And we got some really romantic images. Here, take a look!
The wedding breakfast was held back in The Ladybird Room that had been dressed amazingly with tables of beautiful floral arrangements and candles creating a wonderfully elegant yet cosy vibe. Guests were seated first so that Sacha and Tyler could receive a rapturous welcome from everybody. Speeches were before food which is always a good idea and were funny and heart felt.

There followed a delicious meal prepared by the very talented team at Olive Tree Catering who served up food that delighted everybody. We must also mention the cake as it was a work of art and the clever creation of cake maker Sophie Dough.
When it came to evening entertainment, Sacha and Tyler had thought of everything. There was music by DJ Drizz, tasty pizza provided by Pizza Principles and fireworks laid on by Chorlton Fireworks. We love fireworks at weddings, they provide some fun and excitement at a time in the day when you think all the surprises are over. And they make for amazing wedding photos.
We loved capturing wedding photography at The Oak Tree for Sacha and Tyler. A stylish, fun and family friendly wedding for at a gorgeous venue.
