Family Photographers in Didsbury – The Bradshaw Family Photoshoot
We love our job as Family photographers in Didsbury, especially when we got to meet up with the Bradshaw family for their family photoshoot at Fletcher Moss Gardens.
Jess bought the photoshoot as an anniversary present for her husband Joe and we met up on a sunny day in August. Jess and Joe have two children, 4-year-old Sophie and 22-month year old Harry. (At least that’s how old they were back in August 2019 when we did the photoshoot!)
It’s always great to book a photoshoot when your children are pre-school age. As you know, in the early years children grow, change and develop their characters constantly. So, taking the time to just stop and create a keepsake in this precious time is a decision you really won’t regret.
Creative and Natural Family Photography in Didsbury
Jess and Joe bought along some of Sophie’s and Harry’s favourite toys, books and Sophie’s scooter. They also brought some blowing bubbles which were the perfect prop and helped us in creating some really beautiful images. Though sometimes, you can’t beat dad swinging you around or mum guiding you as you walk along a wall. Showing that although times change, what young children enjoy really doesn’t.
Happy relaxed children make happy relaxed parents, so the play element allowed us to take natural and authentic images of the Bradshaw family walking, playing and chatting in the gardens. We stayed as unobtrusive as we could. There were no line ups, forced smiles or awkward poses.
Ask any Manchester photographers and they’ll tell you that Fletcher Moss Park is the perfect place for a photoshoot. It was so beautiful that we were just spoilt for choice when it came to choosing pretty backdrops in our images. We especially liked the rose garden images of Jess and Sophie, and the images of Joe and Harry running through the pergolas.

We even managed to engage Sophie and Harry long enough to get some gorgeous portrait images of just Jess and Joe set against a romantic backdrop of beautifully mature trees.
It was at this point that Sophie took an interest one of our cameras. Clearly a photographer of the future. Here, take a look!
We had a lovely time with the Bradshaw family and managed to get some really beautiful images that we know Jess and Joe are thrilled with. Images that they can treasure and then one day pass on to Sophie and Harry.
