Walkden Gardens Family Photoshoot Location for The Hoonanian Family
We first meet Joanna & Simon when they married at The Marriott Hotel in Worsley in 2012. It seems such a long time ago now as we’d only just started in the wedding photography industry. We specifically remember their wedding as it stands out, Joanna lost her engagement ring getting out the wedding car at the entrance and during the ceremony when they go to exchange the rings she noticed it missing. Guess who found the engagement ring, yours truly, me. So that the 1st and last time I hope that we are the hero and save the day.
Joanna got in touch after noticing we do family photoshoot sessions that are a bit more natural and relaxed. We suggested starting the photo shoot at home as Rafi was so young and it gave Alina chance to show me her fairytale castle and have something to eat and a story before heading off to Walkden Gardens for a runaround.
The Pigeon Loft at Walkden Gardens
There are so many wonderful spaces at Walkden Gardens so it’s difficult to choose which to use, we allowed Alina to run around so she made the final decisions. We particularly liked the old Pigeon Loft location as that space was great for some swinging and fun. It’s difficult with small children to keep them entertained the whole shoot so making it a game and enjoy playing chase or hide & seek is a great way to keep them interested.
Spring in Walkden Gardens
We had a very unexpected warm spell in February so this was one of those days you could leave your coat at home and the jumper was enough, especially running around. The wonderful spring flowers had started to come out and we couldn’t resist the purple tulips which had shown themselves.
Walkden Gardens in Sale really is the place for a wonderful family photoshoot. If you’d like to book one then please get in touch and we can discuss what would suit your family and style.
