St Marys Church Urmston : Alex + Pete’s Wedding
What a great time we had at Alex + Pete’s St Marys Church Urmston wedding on Saturday, the weather was beautiful and a little too hot if that’s possible for the UK. We were so excited when Alex + Pete came to see us and told us that their wedding was in Urmston, it was our 1st time shooting a wedding so close to our front door. The morning started with Bridal Prep in Stretford at Alex’s parent’s house, we arrived at a very calm and relaxed house with everyone enjoying the sunshine and champagne.
We then headed off to see the boys at their home in Davyhulme where Pete couldn’t resist a quick go of Fifa before they left for the pub lol. After we left the boys it was back to the girls to capture the final preparations and then head off to St Marys Church Urmston to capture Alex’s arrival.
The church is beautiful it’s a real hidden gem built 1889 and it has been well taken care of by the parish and its congregation. After the ceremony, we took Alex + Pete off to Davyhulme Millennium Nature Reserve to play with some Smoke Grenades which were so much fun. After a few cheeky shots as we were pushed for time it was off for a meal at Grill At 27 where guests were waiting for their Bride & Groom.
Alex + Pete’s vision for their wedding was to create a wedding that was relaxed, warm and would feel like a party… so the evening was opened with the fantastic sounds of a Vinyl DJ (The Sugarfoot DJ’s) who played some of the most amazing Latin, Funk, Soul fusion tunes we’ve heard, certainly a talking point and had a real flair of sophistication to the evening, we can highly recommend them if you want something different….nothing beats the sound of Vinyl – contact them through http://analoguesound.org/
We hope you enjoy this preview of their wedding, if you would like to see the full album then please contact Alex + Pete for the link and password.
