Lisa and Matthew chose the perfect venue for their autumn wedding. Eaves Hall weddings are always a delight to shoot. Set in the stunning Ribble Valley Eaves Hall is a stunning Georgian mansion set in seven acres of beautiful gardens and grounds. It’s such a romantic and elegant wedding venue. But I’ll get back to why we love returning to be Eaves Hall wedding photographers in a minute. Let’s start at the beginning of Lisa and Matthew’s amazing wedding day.

On the day we arrived early to catch up with Lisa as she got ready in Eave Hall’s bridal suite. Lisa was in good spirits and safe hands with the bridesmaids, the two Sophie’s and Sarah along with flower girl Lucie all on hand to help her with her final preparations. There was also a little bubbly to help things along!

Lisa looked absolutely stunning in her Pronovias dress that gave her the most perfect silhouette in all of our portrait shots. Hair and make-up on the day by was done by Hayley and Amber. The overall look was one of elegance and old fashioned glamour. Lisa looked so comfortable as a bride.

Matthew and his grooms’ party all looked resplendent in their three-piece petrol blue suits and there was time for a quick ‘cuppa’ before proceedings! (or was it tea in those mugs)

The ceremony was held in a stunning room. It had the most perfect light (us Cheshire wedding photographers are obsessed with light!) Take a look at the mirror shot. It’s one of our favourites of the day.

After a beautiful ceremony everybody enjoyed a drinks reception and there was a chance to take some group shots of the wedding party on Eaves Hall’s dramatic front steps and a few romantic portrait shots of Lisa and Matthew set around the grounds of Eaves Hall.

This is another reason why we love being Eaves Hall wedding photographers. Its amazing character and features both inside and out provide us with the most perfect backdrop when photographing our clients.

The wedding reception room was dressed so elegantly with crisp white table linen and flowers provided by those clever people at The Flower Studio in Manchester. It all looked so opulent and stylish. There followed delicious food and some very well received speeches.

Now when it came to the evening this lot were up for a party. There was the most fantastic first dance where Lisa and Matthew wowed everyone with a romantic number and then Lisa and her Dad did a dance to an Elvis Remix!

It’s fair to say that both dances really got the party started and the dancefloor continued to see many a shape cut all evening. It was also a pleasure to see Jed again, who we see often through Lisa’s work.

We loved the sparkler send off as it created a perfect photo opportunity. Take a look!
