We always love returning to be Eaves Hall wedding photographers. Lauren and Patrick chose the perfect venue for their Spring wedding in Lancashire.
One of the best things about being Lancashire wedding photographers is getting to shoot wedding photography at Eaves Hall. This award-winning Georgian style country house stands in 13 acres of immaculate gardens with views across the Ribble Valley. We still get a buzz of excitement as we turn off the road and through the wrought iron gates and drive up the majestic tree lined driveway. The first glimpse of the house is a wow moment every single time.
On the day we got there early to catch up with Lauren and her bridal party who were getting ready in one of the beautiful suites. I say bridal party but they were more like an army.
Everybody was in good spirits and there was a great atmosphere. Lauren was in the capable hands of her friend and make up artist Chloe Docherty and her hair stylist Colette.
There being two of us means we can literally be in two places at the same time so we had a chance to catch up with Patrick and his grooms party who were getting ready in another of Eaves Hall’s suites. The boys looked very smart in light grey check three-piece suits.
Experienced Eaves Hall wedding photographers
Lauren looked amazing in a low backed sculpted dress with a sweet heart neckline and a beautiful mermaid cut that gave Lauren an unbelievably stunning silhouette. Lauren brought the dress at The White Gallery in Ramsbottom. It was perfectly complimented with an elegant bouquet of white flowers and green foliage. Bridesmaids wore soft muted grey dresses and the flowers girls looked adorable in white.
The ceremony was held in Eaves Halls photogenic ballroom. This light and airy chandeliered room has beautiful period features and wooden floors. The perfect setting for a wedding ceremony, it had been tastefully dressed with simple white flowers, green foliage, candles and white petals. (the clever work of the team at Creative Venues Styling) The elegant ceremony also had musical accompaniment from a string quartet.
After the ceremony, guest lined up outside for a fun confetti moment for Lauren and Patrick, and as a drinks reception was served on the terrace, I took my chance to get some group images. This was the only point in the day when rain threatened, but like true Brits we braved it out and successfully saw it off.
Storytelling wedding photography at Eaves Hall
Whilst guests happily drank, mingled and enjoyed the return of the sunshine, we took some great images of Lauren and Patrick around the beautiful grounds and gardens of Eaves Hall. As well as some great ones of the rest of the wedding party.
The wedding reception was held back in the ballroom and the room had been dressed exquisitely. Speeches were given before the meal by Patrick, Josh and Thomas, and they all went down a storm. Then everybody enjoyed a delicious wedding meal prepared by Eaves Hall’s team of in-house chefs.
After dinner there was the chance of more photos outside and a quick photoshoot with Lauren and Patrick to capture some romantic portrait images of them as the sun started to set. We got some really beautiful images as you can see below.
Evening celebrations started with the cutting of the most elegant and modern three-tiered cake, before a fun throwing the bouquet moment.
Lauren and Patrick then took to the dancefloor for their first dance and it wasn’t long before their loved ones joined them. Lauren and Patricks guests were really up for a party and it was lovely to see everybody of every generation on the dancefloor together.

Before taking our leave, we wanted to get one last special shot. So, we quickly took Lauren and Patrick outside to capture a romantic image of the two of them under the stars, with all of their loved ones partying inside. As you can see below, it was a fantastic image, and the perfect one to close the story of their amazing wedding day.
