Engagement Shoot in Blackburn with Jen & Luke
We love capturing engagement photography in Blackburn. Jen and Luke were a dream to work with. Laidback, relaxed and friendly, which made our job all the more enjoyable.
Jen and Luke chose a park near their family home in Blackburn for their engagement photoshoot and we met up on a typical autumn day. It’s always a good idea to choose a location that is familiar and special to you as a couple as it you relax in familiar surroundings and are quicker to forget about the camera and just enjoy one another’s company.
Creative Engagement Photography in Blackburn
We say one another, but there were three of them in the photoshoot as it included their much-loved dog who had a lot of fun retrieving his ball from the lake. And it was by the lakeside that we captured some great images of Jen and Luke. We were especially pleased with the black and white images. Here, take a look!
Engagement photography is increasing in popularity. Some couples choose to have engagement photography as they say that they feel uncomfortable being photographed or that they never like pictures of themselves. Engagement photography is an opportunity to fix all of these worries. It’s a chance for them to get used to us photographing them and if they need it, we can give them tips to help them to be more comfortable in front of the camera. So that it won’t be an issue on their wedding day.
Experienced Blackburn Engagement Photographers
We then headed into the woodland to capture some romantic portrait images of Jen and Luke in the ferns. I love the way the low sun cuts through the trees creating a really romantic soft light. Here, take a look!
Many of our previous engagement photography images are used by couples in their wedding stationery like invitations, guest books and thank you cards.
Talking of wedding days, Jen and Luke will be getting married at the stunning country house hotel Mitton Hall down the road in the village of Clitheroe.
I think we’re looking forward to it nearly as much as they are.
Storytelling Engagement Photographer in Lancashire
We ended the photoshoot with some lovely images of Jen and Luke walking their dog hand in hand with one another. We set ourselves back and photographed them through a clearing in trees achieving paparazzi style images that looked so natural and authentic.
We can’t tell you how wonderful it is to be back outside doing engagement photography again. A reminder, as if we needed one, that being Lancashire engagement photographers, is without a doubt, the best job in the world.
