Meols Hall Wedding photographers Southport – Emma and Namal’s wedding day
One of the best things about being a Southport wedding photographer is getting to capture wedding photography at Meols Hall. Emma and Namal chose the perfect venue for their autumn wedding.
On the day we headed to The Bold Hotel where Emma was getting ready. She was in safe hands with her mum Christine, maid of honour Lindsey and bridesmaid Jill by her side. We loved those bridesmaids’ dresses by the way – gorgeous!
As there’s two of us, we’re able to be in two places at the same time so also took the chance to catch up with Namal who was looking very smart in a three-piece dark blue suit with a burgundy tie and brown brogues. The perfect balance of smart yet comfortable. We captured a lovely moment when Namal opened a gift of personalised cufflinks from Emma.
Emma looked amazing in her off the shoulder style dress with a full a line skirt giving her a fairy tale silhouette in all of our images. Emma really suited being a bride and totally beamed all day. Us Lancashire wedding photographers do love a smiley bride. Emma travelled to Meols Hall in a handsome vintage Rolls Royce.

We love shooting wedding photography at Meols Hall. Weddings take place in their 400-year-old Title Barn that has retained all of its original features whilst having all the modern features of a fully equipped kitchen, bar facilities and state of the art light and sound system that you would expect from a premier wedding venue. Its intimate candlelit ambience made it the perfect location for a lovely autumn wedding in Lancashire.
After a gorgeous ceremony guests headed back outside to the courtyard for reception drinks and it was a chance for us to capture some great images of the wedding party and of guests mingling. We also took our chance to get a few romantic portrait images of Emma and Namal around the beautiful walled gardens at Meol Hall.
The wedding reception was held back in Tithe Barn which had been dressed exquisitely with the white linen and floral displays on the tables that with the ambient lighting worked perfectly against the stunning brick walls and timber framed rafters of the barn.
After a sumptuous wedding breakfast there was some lovely video messages from Namal’s mum and brother who couldn’t make the wedding due to travel restrictions. As well as some messages from celebrities Ben Fogel and Jason Button. Speeches on the day were by Emma’s dad Graham, bestman Hary and by Namal and were all very well received.

Evening celebrations started with a romantic first dance for Emma and Namal that we captured with some gorgeous images. Though they weren’t alone on the dancefloor for long as Emma and Namal’s guests were really up for a party and the wedding team at Meols Hall made sure they got one!
