The sun shone all day for Laura and Connor’s late summer wedding. One of the best things about being Cheshire wedding photographers is getting to shoot wedding photography at Mottram Hall. This charming 18^th century Georgian country house sits in 270 acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside. With a stunning manor house, picturesque gardens and a serene lake, it is one of the most elegant and romantic wedding venues in Cheshire.

On the day, we got to Mottram Hall early and caught up with Laura who was getting ready in Mottram Hall’s lovely bridal suite. We found her in safe hands with Tallulah Pritchard and Leanne Sale taking care of hair and make-up. Along with her bridal party that consisted of Laura’s mum Lindsay, her Auntie Alyson, maid of honour Arezu and bridesmaid Martha.

Laura looked amazing in a beautiful lace dress with a fitted bodice and a floaty a-line skirt with a full-length veil. The floaty layering gave Laura a fairy-tale bride silhouette that looked amazing in all of our images of her and worked beautifully with the grandeur of Mottram Hall.

The flowers on the day looked amazing and were created by the very clever Helen Taylor of Taylor Made Blooms.

As there’s two of us, we can be in two places at once which allowed us to also catch up with Connor and the boys who were getting ready in another room at Mottram Hall. The grooms party consisted of Connor’s dad Richard, best men Callum and Lewis and usher Danny.

The ceremony was held in Mottram Hall’s tasteful St Andrew’s Suite. A spacious and elegant room that is opulently decorated with silver and champagne tones that complement its many period features. It’s the perfect space for a wedding ceremony and had been dressed beautifully. The St Andrew’s Suite is also flooded with lots of natural light. Us Cheshire wedding photographers are always thrilled with any additional natural light that we can play with to capture even more amazing images.

After a beautiful ceremony there was a fun confetti moment outside before guests enjoyed an elegant drinks reception. We took the chance to get some great images of the wedding party in the beautiful gardens at Mottram Hall. And whilst their guests were happily entertained, we whisked Laura and Connor away for a minute to capture some romantic portrait images of them around the stunning grounds. We got some gorgeous images that we know they’re thrilled with. Here take a look!

Then everybody headed back inside to the St Andrew’s Suite for a sumptuous wedding breakfast and some very well received speeches by Connor, by his dad Ian and by best man Lewis.

As the sun started to set, we quickly took Laura and Connor back outside to get some romantic images of them outside the majestic hall as well as some romantic sunset images of them that turned out to be amongst our favourite images of the day. Here take a look!

Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a fantastic cake before Laura and Connor took to the dancefloor for a romantic first dance. They weren’t alone for long. Laura and Connor’s guests were really up for a party and we captured a gorgeous father daughter dance as well.

A fantastic wedding for a lovely couple at a stunning Cheshire wedding venue. Congratulations to Laura and Connor for getting married and creating an amazing wedding day for yourselves and your family and friends to remember. And thank you for allowing us to tell the story of it. We loved it!
