West Tower Wedding Photographer - Leanne & Simon's Wedding
We always love returning to be West Tower Wedding photographers. Leanne and Simon chose the perfect venue for their lovely spring wedding. A romantic hideaway amidst the rolling Lancashire countryside, West Tower is an elegant house with beautiful interiors and stunning gardens.
Leanne was in good hands when we arrived with her bridal party on hand to help her get ready. The bridal party consisted of maid of honour Angela, bridesmaids Amy, Lynsey and Alyssa, flower girl Keira and most importantly mother of the bride Yvonne and Simon’s mum Elaine and there was a little bubbly on hand to help with any last minute nerves (or was it to get the party started) it was one or both of those reasons!
An Indoor Wedding at West Tower
Leanne looked amazing in her wedding dress that she bought at Creations in Wigan, with hair done by Emma Baxter and Make-up by Helena Harley Leanne looked every inch the bride. Relaxed and happy she absolutely beamed all day.
The weather wasn’t kind it rained all day not that it mattered and that’s another reason why we love being West Tower wedding photographers. The interiors are so elegant and the natural light that floods in through the large windows means that there is always plenty of natural light. Bad weather really can’t spoil a West Tower wedding. With so much fun going on inside Leanne, Simon and their guests barely noticed what was going on outside
The West Tower Ballroom
The ceremony was held in West Tower’s beautiful ballroom which is a wonderfully flexible space that can be partitioned off so that you have an intimate setting for your ceremony then the partition wall can be pulled back to reveal your dining space. Which at Leanne and Simon’s wedding was dressed exquisitely with white linen, flower arrangements in soft pastels and candles. It looked amazing. At this point we must mention the flowers on the day which were beautiful and were kindly done by Leanne’s friend Natasha.
The wedding reception started with Leanne and Simon entering to rapturous applause. There was a lovely speech given by Leanne’s father Anthony and everybody enjoyed a sumptuous wedding breakfast of soup, beef and crème brulee (it was delicious!)
A Sea of Dry Ice
Entertainment at the wedding was provided by those very talented people at JS Wedding Services. They created a fantastic first dance moment with dry ice and a floating on the clouds effect which looked magical. In fact it was the dancefloor shots that were amongst our favourites of the day. And it was the image of Leanne and Simon partying with all their loved ones around them that seemed a fitting moment to take our last shot and close the story of Leanne and Simon’s wedding day. A lovely family friendly wedding full of laughter. Meeting couples like Leanne and Simon and getting to be West Tower wedding photographers is what makes our job the best. Congratulations to Leanne and Simon for getting married. We hope our images will enable you to relive it again and again for many years to come.
