Willington Hall Wedding Photographers – Chelsey & Phil’s Wedding

We always love returning to be Willington Hall wedding photographers. Chelsey and Phil chose the perfect venue for their summer wedding.

On the day we got there early so we could catch up with the bridal party getting ready. Chelsey was getting ready at her and Phil’s house and had her bridal party with her that consisted of her mum Sue, her sisters Jade (maid of honour) and Fern (bridesmaid) along with two more bridesmaids Kristy and Kate. Everybody was in good spirits and excited for the day.

Once everybody was ready, we captured a gorgeous father seeing the bride moment.

The ceremony was held at St John’s Church in the pretty Cheshire village of Sandiway, and Chelsey and her dad travelled there in style in a vintage imperial cream landaulette wedding car that they hired from Horgan’s.

Chelsey looked amazing in her dress that she bought from Natalie Ann Brides. It had a sculpted bodice top, beautiful lace detail and a fish tail that kicked out to create a gorgeous silhouette. Her hair was done by Jess Healy and make up by bridesmaid Kate. Chelsey looked stunning.

Bridesmaids wore elegant soft pink dresses with flower girls in white.

We caught up with Phil and his grooms party at the church. They consisted of Phil, his best man/brother Paul, he and Chelsey’s gorgeous daughter Georgie, Phil’s Dad Chris and keeping them all in order Phil’s mum Maria. The boys looked very smart in petrol blue three-piece suits with pink ties, though the handsomest were definitely the two page boys (sorry Phil!)

We want to mention the children at the wedding. They all looked adorable and performed their duties very diligently. And were, as children always are, delightfully photogenic.

After a beautiful ceremony there was a fun confetti moment before everybody headed to Willington Hall for the reception.

Did we mention we love shooting wedding photography at Willington Hall? This Georgian boutique hotel in the heart of the Cheshire countryside is just beautiful. Built in 1829 it has 17 acres of beautifully cultivated and landscaped parklands and gardens with water fountains and rose gardens, that make the most beautiful backdrops in our images. Inside its beautiful period features like ornate ceilings, a solid oak staircase and crystal chandeliers create a romantic, charming and decadent space perfect for a wedding.

On arrival everybody enjoyed a drinks reception and we took the chance to get some lovely images of Chelsey, Phil and their wedding party. The wedding reception was held in one of Willington Hall’s majestic reception rooms and had been dressed beautifully by Jo from ‘Dress2Impress’. Elegant white linen mixed with beautiful flowers that were clever creation of Meryl at Black Cat Floral, who also did the bouquets and buttonholes.

As Cheshire wedding photographers we’ve heard a lot of wedding speeches so can confirm that the speeches at Chelsey and Phil’s wedding were great. All were rapturously received with tears of laughter and joy. And they ended with a brilliant surprise guest appearance by singer/songwriter Jamie Mathias.

Evening celebrations started with a romantic first dance but Chelsey and Phil weren’t on the dancefloor for long before they had company. Their family and friends were definitely up for a party and the DJ from Decade Discos was on hand to see they got one.

And it was the image of everybody having it large on the dancefloor that seemed the perfect image to close the story of Chelsey and Phil’s lovely wedding day.

A wonderful family friendly wedding full of love and laughter for Chelsey and Phil. Congratulations to both of you and thank you for allowing us to tell the story of it with beautiful and timeless images.
