Titanic Hotel Wedding Photographer
You couldn’t have predicted a better day for an October wedding, fresh air, sunshine and lots of happy faces. Arriving at Kate’s parents in Southport to the sound of seagulls and pure blue skies, was magic and a definite sign that the day was going to be epic.
When shooting the bridal preparations we try to keep well out of the way and just shoot what happens with little or no interruptions from us. We really enjoyed the relaxed bride and groom prep as Stephen & Kate’s preparations.
Kate arrived at the Church with her Dad and the bridesmaids bang on time, not leaving Stephen waiting too long. Kate looked amazing and little Harry scrubbed up a bit too well as he stole the show as he wondered into Church all by himself.
There were a few giggles during the ceremony as the officiant got their name wrong, or was that on purpose just to get that giggle (who knows) but it was fantastic and great for photos so we didn’t mind.
The awesome Titanic Hotel is situated in the industrial part of town, with its own dock and an old industrial building next door which they seem to be renovating it oozes dockyard which is what Stephen & Kate really wanted during the discussions about their day when we met up last year. The sunset about 6 pm so during the dinner we took them out for some sunset photos over the water and couldn’t have timed it any better.
The staff at the Titanic looked after us all day, they were so helpful and friendly and accommodating and made sure we were fed and watered, so big thanks to them.
Harry had his own bar, however, he’s too young to drink yet but i’m sure the family made sure that they took advantage of it lol. Their wonderful entertainer Simon had the place bouncing as we were packing away so I can only imagine that everyone had a fantastic time.
