Rookery Hall Wedding Photographer : Emma + Paul’s Navy Inspired Wedding

Emma + Paul’s are both in the Navy and meet during their service on an actual war ship…eeek. It was such a pleasure to photograph this stunning wedding at Rookery Hall.  It’s difficult for them both to spend time together and as Emma is always in uniform it’s not often that Paul get’s to see her being girly and actually in a dress, so the way Emma looked took Paul’s breath away.  She was so excited for him to see her in a dress she was ready super early and in plenty of time for the short walk over to the Ceremony.  Rookery Hall is such a stunning venue, blending the old house with a new extension where couples get married then pop back to the house for drinks and a walk in the gardens.   If you’re looking for a venue in Cheshire it’s well worth considering this beautiful old hall.

The gardens are a beautiful place to take the photographers of the family, so we spent come time on the group shots, we love having a bit of fun with the family on these shots as we believe they don’t have to be traditional at all, they can be fun and really show off the personalities within your family.

The wedding breakfast was held in the extension, the room is lovely and light and Emma’s navy theme worked perfectly, all the royal blue colours and green flowers complimented to the room.  After the meal they did the traditional speeches to which everyone laughed and cried in the right places – the speeches were perfect.
